Only two out this Saturday, not unusual for a Bank Holiday weekend, family commitments etc. Bill Kent joined me for the ride out to the Thames. The route: Hogsmill River, Chessington South, Claygate Common, Esher Common, Thames Ditton and finally out onto the tow path about a mile from the cafe.
At the cafe we met Barry Gregory and caught up on news. A nice morning ride out, but whilst we chatted and ate the sky became overcast and a little threatening as if the few days of above normal temperatures were going to cause storms.
The return journey was north side of the Thames through Kempton, Hampton Wick, Bushey Park. At the park Bill headed for home and I rode the rest solo back to Horton Country Park. My route: Kingston, Berrylands, Tolworth, and Chessington North.
