Four riders made it to Horley for the breakfast gratefully supplied by Dave Elliott ((Birthday Boy)
Trevor perambulated his way out from Cheam to the secondary meeting spot at Walton on The Hill, where road biking Andrew Adams, Brian Harris and Bubbles?! (Sorry new fellow, I haven’t met you yet!) were waiting.
Alas Trevor had to ride on his lonesome until meeting me (Paul White) at Gatton Bottom top gate lodge entrance before he had someone to talk to. The weather over the top of Reigate was drizzling and foggy and continued to do so until we were well out of Redhill.
We followed the usual path route out via Gatton Park Road picking up Paul Martin and Dave Elliott at the exit of the park.
We then iggy wiggied our way out the back of Redhill and onto Route 21 Greenwich to Gatwick cycle path.
We arrived in Horley just before twelve and in time for breakfast at The Jack Fairman.
The route was retraced to Redhill where I said goodbye to the crew and headed back to Merstham whilst they partook of some extra energy type drinks at a local hostelry.
Thank You to Dave Elliott for breakfast.
Paul White.
