St Ybard 2012/6

Has Dennis taken his St Ybard slimming regime too far?

Today dawned cloudy which dampened the enthusiasm for active cycling somewhat but there was stacks of activity at number 7 Avenue de Verite.  More landscaping, tree felling, log sawing, bonfire dampening, painting of anything that didn’t move and the front gates.  Sue Martin texted Paul to suggest that the club spent a weeks holiday at their place next year “as we’ve got lots of jobs that need doing!”  Anyone for a week in sunny Coulsdon?  In fact it didn’t rain at all today although the temperature dropped by about 10 degrees.  Big salads or Denbo’s soup for lunch before sitting down for slightly less than 100 miles of the last Pyrenees stage of the Tour where Valverde, Sky and Liquigas gave us plenty to cheer about.  Tomorrow the Tour arrives in Brive la Gaillard about 50kms south of here and we hope to be there to give  our boys a cheer.
