Breaking news: Clarencourt rider "wins" on Alpe d'Huez

We have safely completed the Home to Toulon trip having ridden 800 miles and climbed 48,600 vertical feet during the 10 days, raising something like £6500 for Cancer Research UK (so far… www.justgiving.com/home2toulon if you are still interested in supporting us). We took in Alpe d’Huez and Mont Ventoux near the end of our journey (I think the 2013 Tour de France route planners must have taken note by the sound of it) and it was a fantastic experience for all involved. I’ll try & put something more comprehensive together for the quarterly newsletter – but thanks at this point must go to Martin Guest for organising the trip and to all 5 riders and our brilliant support driver Alan who made it all possible, and kept us pedalling.
