Seven riders out today: Adam Domaingue, Bill Kent, Tracy Caudle, Trevor Kite, Lucinda, Paul White and Bill Martin leading. The weather was pleasant, a little breeze, but recent rain and the dampness kept the temperature in the ‘Chilly Autumn mornings’ category.
Bill’s route was out through Ewell following the Hogsmill towards Tolworth, then Chessington South, Claygate Common, Esher Common and West End, Esher. After that, bridleways at the rear of Hersham Golf Club into West Molesey and zig-zagged our way through residential streets onto the Thames at Hurst Park. A few minutes later we were at the elevenses stop.

Bill Martin behind the camera. After good food and banter we left and followed the Thames Towpath to Kingston, over the bridge through the market place and mostly rejoined the Hogsmill River for the return to Cheam via Berrylands and Worcester Park suburbs.
