Sunday a road ride starting Cheam BR Station South Side 9am with pick-up at Leatherhead BR Station 9:45am. Destination to be Clandon Park. Approx 45 miles 14/15mph. I will not be riding, family day. Please leave a comment if you wish to lead or ride. Trevor
I led the ride from Cheam last Sunday, this was easy as I was the only one in the peloton when I left station at 9.10am, having got there at 8.53.As per plan B rode to Tanhouse for scrambled eggs and coffee, Richard Williamson joined me there with his son Russell and my boiler maintenance man from B Gas who is a keen cyclist. Stayed for second coffee with the Wiliamsons, which I cadged from Richard. Home via several interesting deviations, ending up on Kingston Bypass, where I ran out of energy, no problem, whipped out my banana and surged home through Banstead.
Endless miles at embarrassingly slow pace.
