I’m thinking of riding up to Brick Lane Bikes (http://bricklanebikes.co.uk) in Bethnal Green on Saturday if anyone is interested. Bikes and a quick plate of samosa’s for lunch! The ride will start from either Cheam or Richmond Park depending on who is going and will cut across Wimbledon Common before crossing the river on Wandsworth Bridge and following the river to the City and into the East End. Hi Steve, what bikes will you use for this trip out ?
Not sure Barry? Tempted to ride my fixed up with road tyres on rather than off-road as linking up off-road bits would be difficult. Not completely sure of the route but its only about 20 miles tops and I’d rather take the scenic route than te most direct. Should be quiet on the way out but busier on the way back.
Barry and I are meeting at Robin Hood gate car park in Richmond Park at 9:30 to ride into London on the road if anyone would like to come along.
