Trevor and Andrew Adams rode from Cheam to Merstham BR Station to collect Paul Martin and Dave Elliott. Some drizzle on the way there and considering the very poor forecast for later in the day it was considered a quick dash down the road to Horley would be the best option. However by Horley the real rain had arrived and after a stop and a bit to eat there was a speedy return to Redhill where Trevor and Andrew went up Rocky Lane passed Fanny’s Farm to Banstead and home. An enjoyable ride with friends but the last few miles were cold and wet. Sorry Andrew, I know last time you rode with me there was torrential and severe flooding! 40 miles from Epsom.
