Saturday 28th September, off road Garson’s Farm

Two riders out today with others either away on hols, family stuff or not well. The latter, get well soon Bill. So Adam Domaingue and I set off across Ewell, Horton, Prince’s Coverts, Esher Common and West End Common to the elevenses at the garden centre.

It was a bright, chilly morning, with for the first couple of hours a temperature hovering around 6°C. Things were a little soggy after the previous few days monsoons, but we negotiated them with ease and avoided areas we knew historically would be hydrodynamically dodgy.

A very pleasant elevenses stop with a good food menu. The centre is now starting to set up for Xmas, which means we won’t be using it in December, too busy! 😉

Our route back was a well used set of trails taking us through Thames Ditton, Littleworth Common, Claygate, Chessington South and Horton Country Park.

A very pleasant way to spend Saturday morning.
