Saturday 26th September, off road Claygate Cricket Club

Three riders this morning at Nonsuch Cafe: Adam, Jigs and myself leading.

The morning was bright, but with an autumnal chill as we left the park heading out the west side of Ewell for a change. We gently climbed towards Epsom Common and crossed the A24 heading toward Oxshott via Prince’s Coverts. Once in south Oxshott it was onto Esher Common and a short climb to Claygate for elevenses.

By this time the temperature had improved to a very nice 21°C, so we were able to sit outside for meals.

The return route was via Claygate Common, South Chessington and Horton Country Park and the Hogsmill River to Ewell/Cheam.

20 miles for me, and @ 600ft climbing.
