Have you ever read the weekly report on the Sunday club run and wondered what “the usual consequences” are at the end of a ride? Well here is your chance to find out.
On the 9th February 2011, a number of the club’s foremost drink experts will gather at Battersea Town Hall (10 mins from Clapham Junction Station) to sample some of the 140 different types of hydration fluids supplied by some of the country’s best producers, as well as some from smaller producers. These vary in strength and may contain malt, hops, yeast, apple, spice, fruit and all manner of things that are good for your health. Food is also available. And of course, the usual consequences! Do join us!

Hi all, I’m a researcher at Brunel University in West London and I’m looking for athletes to participate in a research study on exercise induced asthma. I was wondering if it would be possible to distribute the attached flyer around your club or let me know how I could contact members. In return for doing the study, athletes will get a free report of their lung function and a free asthma test that normally costs around £200, as well as finding out how well controlled their asthma is.
If anyone is interested, please e-mail me on aldona.greenwood@brunel.ac.uk
Kind regards
Dr Aldona Greenwood
